The ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters is live on Sky Sports this weekend in HD and on mobile and tablet devices via Sky Go.
Sky Sports will televise two hours of live golf on Saturday afternoon, followed by additional coverage on the Red Button. There will also be at least two and a half hours of live action on Sunday afternoon with 30 minutes of highlights on both evenings.
The announcement comes as Sky Sports prepares for its live coverage of The 2013 Solheim Cup at Colorado Golf Club in the USA, with the countdown to August’s Solheim Cup matches at Colorado Golf Club well and truly on.
Both the 12-woman European and United States teams being named a week after the ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters, on August 4, following the final round of the Ricoh Women’s British Open at St. Andrews.
The ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters is the penultimate qualifying event and Captain Liselotte Neumann will attend over the weekend to keep watch on the European team hopefuls, including Laura Davies, Sophie Gustafson, Trish Johnson, Gwladys Nocera, Caroline Masson, Sandra Gal, Pernilla Lindberg and Charley Hull.
The Solheim Cup, which is the showpiece event in women’s golf, takes place from August 13-18 just a few days after the PGA Championship. Europe’s women head to Colorado to defend The Solheim Cup, as part of the year-round golf on Sky Sports.
