19 September 2011, Dublin, Ireland: The Solheim Cup week started in Ireland on Monday morning when the entire United States team and seven members of the European team landed on a private charter jet in Dublin.

United States captain Rosie Jones held The Solheim Cup aloft as she disembarked the aircraft to greet European captain Alison Nicholas.

The players will undertake practice rounds at Killeen Castle from Tuesday as they prepare to do battle at The 2011 Solheim Cup, which starts on Friday at Killeen Castle, Dunsany, County Meath.

The European team is playing 18 holes on Tuesday, starting at the first hole at 8.30am, while the United States team will play at the same time beginning from the 10th.

Teeing off at the first at 8.30am from Europe will be Laura Davies, Melissa Reid, Karen Stupples and Christel Boeljon.

They are followed at 8.40am by Maria Hjorth, Anna Nordvqist, Suzann Pettersen and Sophie Gustafson.

Teeing off at 8.50am are Catriona Matthew, Caroline Hedwall, Sandra Gal and Azahara Muñoz.  

Teeing off at the 10th from the United States team at 8.30am are Cristie Kerr, Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel and Michelle Wie.

Out at 8.40am are Ryan O’Toole, Vicky Hurst, Christina Kim and Brittany Lincicome.

They are followed at 8.50am are Angela Stanford, Brittany Lang, Stacy Lewis and Juli Inkster.
