Nocera – last week’s winner

“It feels good to be in second place ahead of the season-ending tournament,” said Gustafson, who played in six events on the Ladies European Tour this year.
Of the six tournaments, she won the De Vere Ladies Scottish Open and finished runner-up in the Scandinavian TPC, UNIQA Ladies Golf Open and Madrid Ladies Masters.
“She (Sophie) is playing well, so am I. May the best player win the race,” said the 25-year-old Hauert. “If you keep working hard, it will pay off; it’s paying off well in my case.
“It’s great to be back (in the race). I was leading it before so I’m just hoping I can keep it. I know Sophie is also up there. But I am not putting undue pressure on me. The important thing is to keep playing well which I am doing at the moment. Let’s see how things shape up.
“One thing is sure: we are going to enjoy playing in Dubai. I played the inaugural edition there last year and everything about the tournament had excellence written all over it.”
