I’ve had a fantastic relationship with Auchterlonies right through my amateur career. I can’t tell you how good they’ve been to me and as amateurs and rookies we rely on this kind of support to make life a little easier for us. Auchterlonies invited me to the opening ceremony because they are going to supply and sponsor all my golf clothing, which is fantastic.
I’m off to the Scottish Golf Union awards dinner next week where they have asked me to present and award. It’s normally me going up to collect the awards as an amateur so it’s a bit surreal thinking that I’ll be the one handing over the trophy. Professional golf is a whole new world and I haven’t even hit my first ball yet in a tour event! Log on again soon for more of my news.
