(Salamanca, May 31 2002) Four players are tied for the lead on six under par after a storm delayed second round of the €250,000 Caja Duero Open de Espaňa at the Campo de Golf Salamanca.
European number one Raquel Carriedo from Spain fired a four under par 68 in the glorious sunshine earlier in the day to reach six under par and was soon joined by Corinne Dibnah from Australia, who fired a best of the day 67 which included eight birdies.

Dibnah, who has admitted recently to be putting “like a blind man”, resurrected her talent with the short stick finding eight red figures on her card.
“It’s about time I got a few putts in,” laughed the 39-year-old from Brisbane.
“I got a few going today and I was hitting the ball well. I won’t be far away at the end of the week if I keep this up – There’s life in the old girl yet.
“I got those irons zeroing in today and once a couple of putts dropped, I thought ‘hmm, Hello!”
Icher, who sits in seventh position in the Solheim Cup rankings, is aiming to improve on her position with a good finish this week.
Birdies at the second, fifth, sixth and 16th saw her on the way to a 69 and the 23-year-old from Châteauroux was delighted at finding her form of last season.
“I am much happier now, I am hitting the ball a lot better and putting well,” said Icher.
“I have a new PING driver in my bag and it’s given me another 20 metres and that has helped a lot over the last couple of weeks.
“The Solheim Cup is definitely my goal for this year and I know I am close to getting there and if I did, that would be the cherry on the cake.”
