The fun began at the Deloitte Ladies Open on Tuesday night when the players took part in an informal hole in one contest at Broekpolder Golf Club in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Players hit a 24 metre pitch shot from the clubhouse terrace to a hole cut just in front of a bunker.

Kiran Matharu was nearest the pin and won a KLM airline ticket valid anywhere in Europe.

Players relaxed over a barbecue in the evening sunshine ahead of the tournament, which will be played at the venue from June 1-3. This is the LET’s third successive visit to the venue and current European No.1 Christel Boeljon headlines the event, playing in her home country.
