(Arras, France – June 11 2005) Veronica Zorzi, Judith Van Hagen, Trish Johnson and Ludivine Kreutz all climbed up the leader board to share the lead in the third round of the €300,000 Arras Open de France Dames, at Le Golf d’Arras, near Anzin St. Aubin.

“I had an excellent four and nearly an incredible three at 16 when I hit a great recovery shot. I cut a four iron around the trees to just off of the green and then a lovely chip two inches from the hole but it just didn’t manage to drop.
“I’ve hit a few pitches and chips that looked like they were going to go drop and didn’t this week so hopefully I’m due for a bit of luck tomorrow,” said the six-time member of the European Solheim Cup team.
“The thing is you know there’s a low number out there so if you can get off to a good start and be three under after five then you’re in a good position. There are going to be four or five of us up there so it’s really a case of just toss a coin and whoever shoots the lowest number wins.”
Kreutz had a similar experience, dropping back from the outright lead into a tie with the trio of international players.
“It’s going to be a difficult day tomorrow because we are all up there in the lead and there are a lot of girls very close behind so its going to be a long day,” said the Tenerife Ladies Open Champion, who lives in Rognac.
“But it’s always great to be leading especially when it’s in your home country. All my family and friends are here this week so I have a lot of support around me.”
