The 2011 Sanya Ladies Open champion Frances Bondad of Australia had a suite at Yalong Bay Golf and Resort named in her honour following her victory at the second edition of the event.
Following the long standing tradition of the TCL Classic on the men’s European Tour where a suite at Yalong Bay Golf and Resort was named in honour of the winner, the 2010 champion Lee-Anne Pace had her own suite named after her in 2010 and now Bondad will also have the use of her own suite for one week a year.
The staff will prepare all meals and she will receive VIP treatment at the luxury resort on the island paradise of Sanya. In addition, she won’t have far to walk to the tee!
Bondad also donated her golf bag to the club which will stay in the suite.
