Zurich/Losone, 17–18 May 2010 – Tournament Director Professor Hanns Michael Hölz announced at the press conference for the fifth Deutsche Bank Ladies’ Swiss Open (14–20 June 2010) the extension of its successful involvement in the Ladies’ European Tour (LET) for a further three years.
"We are proud that the Deutsche Bank Ladies’ Swiss Open was able to establish itself so quickly as the highlight on the Ladies’ European Tour calendar alongside the Women’s British Open and the Evian Masters, and that the professionals recently voted Golf Gerre Losone as their favourite course on the LET," said Tournament Director Professor Hanns Michael Hölz. "This support and appreciation from the LET, the national and international media, as well as the Swiss fans – particularly those from Ticino – has been both the reason and the incentive behind the extension of our role as organiser and title sponsor of the Deutsche Bank Ladies’ Swiss Open for a further three years."

The Deutsche Bank Ladies’ Swiss Open is one of the three most significant golf tournaments on the Ladies’ European Tour (LET). It will take place for the fifth time on the 5,730-metre-long Golf Gerre Losone championship course in the region of Ascona, Locarno, from 14–20 June 2010. It is the first and as yet only carbon-neutral event to be staged on the LET.
