(December 3 2004, Sanctuary Point, NSW Australia) Melanie Holmes-Smith has won a three way playoff against Nikki Campbell and Joanne Mills to secure her maiden victory on the ALPG Tour at the St Georges Basin Country Club Pro-Am.
On a day of low scoring, Holmes-Smith added a four under par 68 to yesterday’s even par round, to finish tied with Campbell (73, 67) and Mills (72, 68) and then birdied the second playoff hole, the par 5 18th, to capture the win, and $3,000 first prize.
