“The proximity to the major motorways and airports such as Heathrow will allow us to conduct business with our international partners with greater ease and in a fantastic environment.
“We are delighted with this move, which will be very positive for the business and will help to continue the growth of the LET and women’s golf around the world.”
Managing Director, Mr Naoki Matsui from the Buckinghamshire Golf Club, added: “The Buckinghamshire Golf Club is very proud to be associated with The Ladies European Tour. The LET has shown its ability to move forward and strive for excellence and The Buckinghamshire also shares this same passion. We are very excited about the opportunities that exist between us and the LET and are confident that both parties will benefit enormously in the future.”
The Buckinghamshire is a stunning but accessible parkland course, created by former European Tour player and Ryder Cup Captain John Jacobs O.B.E, in 1992. Former Irish Open champion John O’Leary is also closely associated with the club, having been the Director of Golf for 11 years.
A relaxed and informal atmosphere in which to eat, drink and play golf sets the Buckinghamshire apart from other golf courses in the UK. The course runs in two loops of nine, starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The fairways wander through three distinct areas incorporating woodland, lakes and rivers and undulating links style land providing a great variety of golfing terrain.
