LET gets official workshop

“I couldn’t do this without the sponsors. To have that many golf shafts, that many grips, all the accessories and all the tooling. If I had to go and buy that and kit it out I would probably get no change out of six figures,” Gene said. “I’ve been quite careful with the companies that I’m dealing with. I want up-and-coming companies that are looking to push the boundaries of golf. I want the players to be playing with the best equipment around.”
Sally McPherson, Membership Manager for the Ladies European Tour, commented: “We are delighted that these manufacturers have supported Gene and made this possible. The workshop will provide a much needed service to the Ladies European Tour membership.”
The Ladies European Tour, which this year features 26 tournaments in 21 different countries, prepares to resume its 2009 schedule from April 23-26, with the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup at La Sella Resort in Alicante, Spain.
