England’s Melissa Reid and Beth Allen from the United States took time out from their busy schedule at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open to visit one of Melbourne’s major tourist attractions: Skydeck88 in the Eureka Tower, Southbank: the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere.
They took the express lift up to the 88th floor at 288 metres and explored the observation deck taking in spectacular views of Melbourne.
The highlight was ‘The Edge’ experience, where they went into a glass cube projected three metres out from the building suspended 300 metres above ground level.
The duo showed nerves of steel as they lay down on the glass to get a better look.
