In a welcome move that sees the company expand its existing investment in the professional game, Samsung joins a host of other highly respected global Asian brands in support of the tournament. Samsung has a high pedigree in supporting ladies professional golf. Since 1995, Samsung has been the official Title Sponsor of the Samsung World Championship.

The Samsung Ladies Masters 2005, to be held under the auspices of the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour (LET), The Korean Ladies Professional Golfers Association (KLPGA), The Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and the Singapore Ladies Golf Association, is to offer prize money of US$200,000, with points counting towards the Solheim Cup and official LET and KLPGA Orders of Merit.
