  • Tickets for The Solheim Cup 2003 at the beautiful Barsebäck Golf & Country Club in Sweden are now on sale via the Internet and a telephone booking line.

  • Practise days: Tuesday 9th September – Thursday 11th September are practise days with the opening ceremony on Thursday. Ground Passes are available for these three days
  • Tournament Days: Friday 12th September – Sunday 14th September are match days. Both Ground Passes and PING Pavilion Passes are available for these days.
  • Season Passes: A Season Pass is recommended if you plan on visiting The Solheim Cup for more than two days of the tournament.
  • PING Pavillion: The PING Pavilion is a large hospitality pavilion conveniently located on course featuring an upscale environment with The Solheim Cup displays, seating, televisions, air-conditioning and a complete “pay as you go” menu for spectators. PING Pavilion Passes also include grounds admission.
  • Youth Tickets: If you are aged between 13 and 18 then you can book a youth ticket and visit The Solheim Cup at a great discount. Children under 13 years of age are admitted free of charge with paying adult.

Travel:

    There is no official travel company in the UK for The Solheim Cup 2003 but in the Nordic regions Event Travel can conatcted on lars.lundberg@eventtravel.se. The following information will hopefully assist you in your requirements.

    The Solheim Cup 2003 will take place at Barsebäck Golf & Country Club. Barsebäck is situated in the south of Sweden in the Skåne area and the nearest city is Malmö.

  • By Car: If you are travelling by car from the south of Sweden, take road E6 towards Helsingborg/Göteborg and exit at Löddeköpinge/Barsebäck. If you are travelling by car from the north of Sweden, take road E6 towards Malmö and exit at Löddeköpinge/Barsebäck.
  • Parking: Parking is available on site at Barseback Golf and Country Club and it will cost approximately 50 SEK per day. Parking tickets should be purchased in advance in order to secure availability.
  • By Plane: The nearest airports for domestic flights are situated in Ängelholm and Malmö. Kastrup in Copenhagen (Köpenhamn) Denmark is the nearest international airport.
  • By Taxi: Taxi from Malmö or Helsingborg takes about 40 minutes and it costs about 500 SEK (approx 55 €).
  • By Train: The nearest train stations are Malmö and Helsingborg. When booking your train ticket you can also reserve a taxi in advance. Train bookings can be made by calling SJ (the Swedish national train company) on +46 (0)771-75 75 75. When travelling from Kastrup airport in Copenhagen (Köpenhamn) Denmark, you can catch the train to Malmö from Terminal 3. The journey takes 22 minutes and the train is bound for Malmö C. The price is 80 SEK (approx 9 €) for adults and 40 SEK (approx 4 €) for children.
