The Sport Psychology service of the Ladies European Tour is in threat of extinction.
Vicki Aitken, the affable Kiwi who has been the resident sport psychologist for the Tour over the last two years may not be able to offer her services again this year, without the help of sponsorship.
“Women’s golf is not blessed with the millions of dollars the PGA Tour have and as a result people like me who are financially dependent upon feeding off the fat of the players incomes, can still be busy and yet struggle to even cover our way financially,” explained Aitken.
