(Tenerife, 2 May 2002) Norway’s Suzann Pettersen played “one of the best rounds” of her life to take a one shot lead after day one of the Euro200,000 Tenerife Ladies Open at Golf del Sur in the Canary Islands.

“The three of us played our socks off out there, I could give that round ten out of ten,” said Head.
“You just can’t lose concentration out there, you have to focus all the time. It’s a cliché, but you have to just concentrate on hitting fairways and greens and not think ahead of yourself.”
