The Evian Ladies European Tour is pleased to announce that they have finalised a sponsorship agreement with JMS mediasystem Sweden to be the eighth and final Official Partner to The Solheim Cup 2003. JMS mediasystem is a print company that provides one third of the direct mail in Sweden. Their services include production of brochures and large banners across Sweden and the pre-press for Svensk Golf, Sweden’s most popular golf magazine. JMS mediasystem will be assisting The Solheim Cup with various event print requirements.
JMS mediasystem joins a strong group of existing Official Partners, American Express, ForeningsSparbanken, HP, Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers, SAS Airlines, Scandic Hotels and Volvo. All of The Solheim Cup 2003 Official Partners are providing an extremely important role in supporting, promoting and making this year’s event bigger and better than ever before. The Official Partners, all based across Sweden, are ensuring that The Solheim Cup is the only thing that the Swedes are talking about this summer!
The Solheim Cup is also privileged to have a strong group of Official Suppliers and Official Media Suppliers who complement the eight Official Partners. Official Suppliers include PING Collection, Securitas, Hertz, Duni, Regenta, Evian, Srixon, Pringle and Stralfors. The Official Media Partners are a mix of radio, newspapers, magazines and websites, all of which are already keenly promoting the forthcoming tournament. Dramatic changes are taking place to Barsebäck Golf Course to ensure that it is in its best ever condition for the top European and USA lady golfers. All of the greens at Barsebäck have been replaced with new grass that has been grown in Austria and transported all the way to Malmo. The tees have also had extensive work and the total yardage for the course is now 5,958 meters (6,518 yards). The Evian Ladies European Tour would like to thank all of the staff at Barsebäck Golf & Country Club for all of the hard work that they have put in to date.
